This recipe from my friend Jessica is a favorite among everyone who's had it! She makes it without cheese, so I'm offering that as an option, by special request, but will use swiss/Gruyere cheesy goodness unless requested. With arugula, bacon, cherry tomatoes, sweet onion, and sweet potato "hash brown" crust, there's really no way to go wrong with this scrumptious brunch, lunch or dinner item, with or without cheese! If you've never had kalbi ribs, these aren't your classic American ribs - at all. They're thin slices, across the rib bones, rather than along them, for a tender, succulent, easy to eat experience, and the seasoning is closer to a ginger teriyaki than a BBQ sauce. Made with gluten free soy sauce, fresh ginger, sesame oil, pineapple juice and honey, these are cooked to perfection over a gas grill, and served on Philippine garlic rice, another not to be missed experience - aromatic with abundant pan fried garlic and fluffy and rich with butter (request DF if desired). Request tofu in order comments.
Order with miso slaw for a complete dinner.

Don't miss this new addition to the Full Belly Fare menu! Wild Alaskan house smoked salmon melds beautifully with potatoes, half and half (or coconut cream upon request if you desire DF) and an array of herbs and spices into this steaming bowl of Autumn goodness! Miso slaw makes a lovely fresh accompaniment to this chowder.

These previously made, frozen muffins are the Full Belly Fare debut of what we hope will become a new line of frozen offerings early next year. They will be delivered fully cooked and frozen, and need only be kept in the fridge and popped into the oven for a short time to come to life as a warm and freshly baked corn muffin! This batch contains bacon, onions, cream cheese, green chiles, and more!
This stupendous recipe comes from a different Full Belly - Full Belly Farm in California, where I used to get my family CSA veggie box, nearly two decades ago, when my kids were small. If you're gluten free, but still want to try these, go ahead and order them and let me know. My friend and partner in cooking all those years ago adapted it to be gluten free, and the flavor does not suffer one bit! I'll make them gluten free by special request. These unusual cornbread muffins have onions, green chiles, cream cheese, whole kernel corn, and bacon! They make a great brunch item, so hearty and nutritious, or enjoy alongside the chili. Bet you can't eat only one!
All options: SF
Crunchy, cool and filling, the perfect accompaniment to the kalbi ribs and garlic rice, the chili, or great on its own! Made with a creamy (dairy free) sesame, white miso and honey dressing - absolutely delicious!
All options: GF, DF, V, NF
If you don't order the Kalbi ribs or tofu, which is served on a bed of this wonderful rice, consider ordering a side to accompany your chili, grilled chicken, or really anything! This traditional dish is aromatic, buttery, rich with garlic, and soft and steamy! Request without butter if desired.
All options: GF, B, NF, SF, V
This lovely wheat free crisp of organic seasonal fruits is served in a short wide mouth mason jar in which the delicious dessert can be reheated (microwave or oven) and then the jar can be reused. The oat, pecan or walnut, and brown sugar-cardamom topping is sweet but not too sweet, the perfect counterpart for the bubbling fruit with which it melds. Top with your favorite yogurt for a brunch that seems like dessert! Pear-Apple-Pluot is a likely combo for Autumn!
All options: Wheat free (but not certified GF oats), SF, B, NF, V
Fresh and lemony, with sheep milk feta (dairy free upon special request), Mediterranean olives, grape tomatoes, sweet onion, red bell pepper, and cucumbers, an avocado for slicing, all on a bed of butter lettuce and iceberg, with house made oregano, lemon and olive oil dressing. Served with lemony grilled chicken, or this makes a great main dish for a vegetarian, too! Request without chicken for a vegetarian main dish, or to split as a side dish between two people.
All options: GF, SF, P without cheese.
This traditional Persian stew is savory and exceptionally delicious - it's hearty but fresh and tangy with Persian lime (genuine dried, all the way from Iran) and bountiful green herbs. The greek salad, ordered vegetarian, makes a stellar accompaniment! Steamed basmati rice is also available for those who desire to eat this stew in the traditional way. Request no kidney beans in order comments if that is preferred.
For those who are vegetarian, the dish is comprised of potato and kidney bean instead of meat and the portion will be 50% bigger, due to cost differences, so one hearty portion could be enough for two adult servings.
“The Persian stew (Ghormeh Sabzi) we received this week was A. MAZ. ING! (so good, _____ didn’t get any)”
"As someone who's eaten ghormeh sabzi in Tehran and many other parts of the Middle East, this was one of the best I've had and absolutely authentic!"

This is a very special addition to the Full Belly Fare menu! Pastelón is a sweet and savory dish made in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. It is grain free, and extremely satisfying! Grassfed ground beef seasoned with tomatoes, bay leaf, raisins and olives (picadillo) is layered between pan fried ripe plantains (a starchy sweet banana-like vegetable) - if you've never tried them, you really must!) and topped with melted white cheeses (but request dairy free if you prefer - it will still be amazing, in fact some classic recipes don't use cheese!). Request vegetarian in the order comments for a meat free version.
All options: GF, SF (P/DF or V (but not SF) upon request)

At Cafe Mediterrane (Oakland, CA) this delectable dish is made as a quiche, but Full Belly Fare's crustless version is every bit as delicious without the gluten, and stores longer. Order as a dinner entree, or share one hearty order between two people for brunch. Made with a blend of mild cheeses and sheep feta.
All options: NF, GF, SF, V
This sweet and garlicky savory oven baked dish is unique. Saucy and delightful, with dried apricots and plums, olives, capers and garlic, herbs and spices, the flavors are surprisingly harmonic and oh so satisfying! We make it with a melange of vegetables too: carrots, cauliflower and zucchini, for a complete meal. Order basmati rice separately if desired. Vegetarians request vegetable tofu version.

This stellar salad is a Full Belly Fare original, with a whole avocado for slicing, dried figs, sheep milk feta, arugula, tangerine, olives, and rosemary candied walnuts with a dill orange vinaigrette and perfect grilled sliced steak (or request vegetarian, to split as a side salad or as a lighter entree with chickpeas.) It's really impossible to combine these ingredients and expect anything less than incredible. Something green, something sweet, something salty, something crunchy, something tart. But this salad is so much more than the sum of it's component parts - it must be tried to be truly appreciated!
