Full Belly Fare will be on a rare vacation for Labor Day week, and will not be preparing or delivering meals on September 6th.

Please consider ordering extra freezable items for August's menus, such as sweet potato bisque, gratin, gormeh sabzi, tortilla soup, lamb burgers, salmon cakes, and pesto, for use during this break. Request in freezable containers when you order, if desired!

  • Summer squash, Dietsel smoked turkey or house smoked chicken and tomato with Parmesan cheese (request vegetarian or dairy free in order comments).

  • This salad is perfect in its simplicity: fresh summer cherry tomatoes, raw sweet corn kernels, baby arugula and crumbled blue cheese with crunchy celery and red onion in a balsamic olive oil dressing. Topped with succulent grilled steak to make it a full meal. Request chick peas instead of steak for vegetarian version. Can omit blue cheese upon request. Goes beautifully as an accompaniment with the gazpacho, the frittata, or the pesto, or on its own as a complete entree.

  • This classic cold Spanish tomato, cucumber, garlic and bell pepper soup is the perfect end of summer light dinner. Order a side of lime-cumin grilled chicken to round out the protein, or split an order of the gazpacho as a vegetable side dish to accompany the pesto dish or the frittata. Made with local, vine ripened organic tomatoes, bursting with flavor, and the freshest ingredients, as always. Served with an avocado for slicing and a side of handmade sea salt corn tortilla strips for a fusion experience.

  • Simple, delicious, boneless, skinless chicken breasts, no antibiotics or hormones, ever, seasoned with olive oil, fresh garlic, salt and pepper, and cooked to perfection over a gas grill. Perfect for the pesto, with or without pasta. Or eat on a green salad for a full meal, on the veg version of the corn salad, wrap in a sandwich, grab cold on the go, or heat quickly in microwave. These also freeze exceptionally well.

  • Semolina or gluten free pasta topped with this delectable house made classic pesto and served with a side of shredded Parmesan. Pesto can be dairy free or nut free upon request. Don't want pasta? Request pesto only for larger portion of pesto - order grilled chicken separately to eat with your pesto, or use the pesto on just about anything! Pesto freezes well too. Please make special requests in comment field.

  • Full Belly Fare will be closed for Labor Day week, but we have many items frozen from previous weeks' menus and would love to provide them for you at a reduced cost! Please specify in order comments if you'd like spicy and sour BBQ beef specifically, or a chef's choice of vegetarian dishes. Each item ordered is $20 - if it is BBQ beef, you'll receive 2-3 servings for the $20 price (depending on appetite) and if it is a vegetarian dish you'll receive 3-4 servings, so as you can see this is a significant discount over regular menu prices!

  • Thick and hearty, this medium spicy dish is wonderfully warming and nourishing, and made fresh with sides of cool sour cream, shredded cheese, chopped sweet onions, and cilantro sprigs! The vegan chili still comes with cheese and sour cream on the side, unless otherwise requested.

    This sweet and garlicky savory oven baked dish is unique. Saucy and delightful, with dried apricots and plums, olives, capers and garlic, herbs and spices, the flavors are surprisingly harmonic and oh so satisfying! We make it with a melange of vegetables too: carrots, cauliflower and zucchini, for a complete meal. Order basmati rice separately if desired. Vegetarians request vegetable tofu version.

  • It's the end of tomato season, and the time when tomatoes are at their finest - for a fleeting moment! This means this acclaimed salad is back for its encore performance of the year. Toasted house made parmesan croutons, fresh basil, parsley, and mint, cucumber, summer tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, sweet onions, and balsamic olive oil dressing, on a bed of arugula, with an avocado for slicing. It's all tossed together shortly before serving so the bread is still a bit crunchy but saturated with dressing. Refreshing, delicious and full of summer flavor. Order without the bread and/or mozzarella for delightful summer tomato basil salad if you're gluten and/or dairy free. Topped with succulent grilled steak unless you request vegetarian. White beans can be added to the vegetarian version upon request. This salad is also wonderful accompanied by the grilled chicken if you prefer that to steak.

    These delectable dairy free, gluten free treats are simple and scrumptious. We make ours wth unsweetened coconut and unlike many recipes, no condensed milk either, for a simple, sweet enough by not too sweet, protein rich (from egg whites) cookie. Default is a variety pack of house special flavors: Chef's choice from vanilla, passionfruit, mocha, lime, cardamom, orange blossom, chocolate, pistachio, rose. If you prefer all one or specific flavors please request in order comments.

  • At Cafe Mediterrane (Oakland, CA) this delectable dish is made as a quiche, but Full Belly Fare's crustless version is every bit as delicious without the gluten, and stores longer. Order as a dinner entree, or share one hearty order between two people for brunch. Made with a blend of mild cheeses and sheep feta.

  • Hearty yet refreshing, this twist on the classic Waldorf is not to be missed. House smoked chicken or tofu, crisp, juicy apples, fresh jicama, celery, sweet, firm red grapes, dried tart cherries, and/or pomegranate jewels (seasonal), toasted pecans, green peppercorns and capers in a subtle Dijon sherry aoili dressing - with optional Jarslberg cheese for a nutty, rich nuance.

    In this Full Belly Fare signature dish, black beans, rice, jalapeños and sweet corn partner with goat cheese, cream cheese* and white cheddar for this unusual, yes, but incredibly tasty enchilada! These default to vegetarian - optional chicken added upon request.

    Layered between corn tortillas with green enchilada sauce of tomatillos, garlic, cilantro, lime, and roasted chiles, these enchiladas are oh so scrumptious! Served with an avocado for slicing and a side of sour cream with scallions.

    *Can be made to contain exclusively goat dairy by request. Put a note in comments on your order if you cannot eat cow dairy and need me to leave the cream cheese out of your order, and skip the sour cream.

  • This savory, mild curry is unusual with its ginger/cinnamon nuance, and while potato and beef is traditional, this version uses cauliflower and green beans instead of potato, for a low carb, low oxalate twist that's absolutely delicious and chock full of vegetables! With house-made seasonal fruit cardamom chutney and lemon yogurt sauce. Order basmati rice to accompany, if desired.

  • This stellar cake is sweet enough for a dessert, but the tart of lime, the fruity mellow flavors imparted by extra virgin olive oil, and the protein and fullness of Greek yogurt makes it a wonderful brunch/tea item as well. Portably served in cupcake form, with a side of seasonal fruit curd for dipping. Absolutely delightful!

  • This is a lovely dish - local apples bursting with flavor, grilled mixed Olympic Provisions sausages, and sweet, savory onions, caramelized together with local hard cider, honey and herbs and roasted to perfection. Served with a side of seedy mustard. Order with German potato or fauxtato salad for a delightfully flavorful, robust and nutritious meal. Vegetarians, the sausage can be omitted upon request and replaced with the delicious house smoked tofu. Dairy free (no butter and only Italian sausage which has no milk) and/or paleo (honey instead of sugar) available upon special request.

    Wild pacific salmon with onions, celery, egg and herbs, cooked to perfection: golden brown on outside, moist and delicious on inside. Served on a bed of lemon garlic basmati rice with a honey citrus and dill dipping glaze. Request paleo in order comments to skip rice and use tapioca instead of cornstarch for salmon cakes.

  • With pecans, house smoked chicken or tofu, optional blue cheese, bacon (not in tofu version), jicama, sliced or whole for fresh slicing nectarine or Apple (seasonal), and grape tomatoes on leafy greens with sides of honey Tabasco dressing, pecans, and avocado. This salad is raved about by all who try it!

    Amazing combination that conjures up images of both a Cobb salad and a BLT, with an overlay of spicy and sweet that brings it all together.
